No Ticket Tram Guide for Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School
In Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School, No Ticket has two separate locks to solve: buy a tram ticket, then use the signal clues to open the way onto the tram. After boarding, pull the lever to finish. The number used at the ticket machine and the word used at the later lock do different jobs; solving one does not complete the other.
This route follows Andrew Highton's November 4 guide to the opening Escape Shack Station task in Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School. Its screenshots show build v1.0.20261005.003. It is not a verified procedure for every release or the current Demo.

Check the task, then choose your spoiler level
Start in Escape Shack Station with No Ticket as the current task and access to the phone booth, ticket machine and station clues. If you are in a campus room or a different tram scene, first check the current objective in your journal.
- Collect the station fare.
- Read the route-map number and buy a ticket.
- Turn five signal clues into a word.
- Open the lock, board and pull the lever.
Hint — ticket machine or later word lock?
The Tram Stops map and three symbol-marked dials belong to the numbered ticket step. The colored-symbol clues and adjustable signals belong to the word step. Keep each clue with its own device.
Show the ticket number and word
The published route gives 9625 for the ticket machine and STEAM for the five-letter lock. You still need to pay for and buy the ticket, then board and pull the lever.
Collect the fare and buy the ticket
Show the money locations and ticket sequence
- Check the phone booth for one station-money pickup.
- Crawl into the vent to find another pickup.
- Inspect the top of the luggage beside the phone booth for the third. The source calls this fare money “bucks.”
- Match each wheel's colored-line pattern to the corresponding stop on the Tram Stops map. That stop supplies the icon to select on the wheel. The published ordered answers are: first wheel Triangle, second wheel Cog/Gear, third wheel Square. The revealed destination number in this route is 9625.
- At the ticket machine, enter 9625 and select the tick/check control.
- Use the yellow payment slot, then select Buy. Check that the ticket purchase has completed before moving on.
These three fare pickups are a local purchase step. The Demo's eight-credit campus-door question concerns a different progress system; this source does not say that a campus credit total replaces the station fare.
Read five letters from the signal clues
Show the signal method and complete word
Read the five colored-symbol clue positions in order. For each clue, first find the adjustable signal with the same marking pattern. Press that signal to cycle its color until it matches the color of the clue on the lock panel, then read its letter. Keep each resulting letter in the corresponding clue position.
The published result is S–T–E–A–M. Enter STEAM at the word lock. Three physical signals are controls you reuse; they do not make this a three-letter answer. The output has five positions because you are reading five clue results.
If you want to solve without copying the word, finish one clue comparison before changing the signals for the next. Record the letter with that clue position so a correct set of letters does not become a scrambled answer.
Finish the journey after opening the lock
- Confirm the ticket has been bought and the word lock is open.
- Board the tram through the opened route.
- Pull the tram's lever.
- Look for the No Ticket completion/result rather than treating an open lock as the final check.
The source includes a No Ticket report-card image with an A+ result. That supports the shown completion state; it does not establish a hint penalty, timer formula or a guaranteed grade for this route.
If your attempt does not match
- The number is accepted but no ticket appears: check the fare pickups, yellow payment step and Buy action. Typing a destination is separate from completing the purchase.
- You bought a ticket but still face a lock: use the colored-symbol signal step. Re-entering the ticket number does not supply the later word.
- Only three letters seem available, or the layout differs: inspect the actual answer positions and signal controls. Do not infer three slots from three signal posts or shorten the five-letter result to an invented alternative. Compare the task and your build with the source scope.
- The correct-looking word still fails: recheck the five clue positions in order and whether you are at the matching No Ticket lock. A different layout/build needs its own evidence; no variant code, save reset or universal repair is verified here.
- You are aboard but the task has not ended: check the lever and the resulting task state.
No Ticket is complete when…
The ticket purchase and signal-word lock have let you board, you have pulled the lever, and the No Ticket completion/result appears. A ticket alone, an opened word lock or the source's A+ image is not proof that your own current attempt has reached that result.
