Character Creator in Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School has a character creator. You are not limited to accepting the first student appearance shown. The developer confirmed the feature on November 1. An earlier PC Demo recording shows Customize Your Appearance while setting up solo play, with appearance choices and an OK button.

Choose your student before entering the game
- During a new-game setup, look for Customize Your Appearance. The inspected Demo recording reaches it from Play Solo.
- Use the arrows beside a listed feature to compare its available choices. Check the student preview as you change them.
- Choose the appearance you want, then use OK to confirm that setup.
This is the route visible in the recorded PC development Demo, not a claim that every release or co-op setup has an identical menu sequence. If you already have a save, keep it: neither source establishes that restarting is necessary to edit an existing student.
What the recorded creator lets you change
The inspected screen lists Body Type, Face Shape, Skintone, Hairstyle, Hair Color, Glasses, Headwear, Accessories and Voice. These are separate rows; choosing a body type is not the same action as choosing a voice or hairstyle.
The same screen has Randomize and Restore Defaults. For a deliberate appearance, compare individual rows and the preview instead of assuming the first displayed combination is the only protagonist. No fixed option count, current cosmetic catalogue or gameplay bonus is established here.

Choose solo or supported co-op →Changing an existing student is a separate question
The November 1 reply confirms that a creator exists; it does not explain reopening it after starting a save, editing a co-op partner, transferring cosmetics or changing an established student’s name. The recorded setup screen does not answer those questions either.
If you cannot find an appearance editor in a running save, do not delete progress to test a guessed route. Keep the platform, version and exact menu you are using when asking for support. If the issue is instead an old Demo save or an end-of-Demo reset, read the separate save and progress explanation.
Your setup is ready when…
You have compared the available features, the preview shows the student you intend to use, and you have confirmed the appearance screen. This answers whether and how the documented new-game creator works; it does not promise a later-save editing route.
