Disable Camera Transitions in Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School
For the Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School Demo, look for the option named Disable Camera Transitions, added in the October 16 update. Enable that option to replace the movement from your viewpoint to an inspected object with a direct cut. It addresses that inspection transition; it is separate from the older Reduce Motion Sway option.

Identify the movement you want to change
The original player described discomfort despite using Reduce Motion Sway. Another player specifically mentioned the view reorienting when leaving an object inspection. The developer later described a new setting for the movement between the player viewpoint and a specific object.
- The camera travels into an object inspection: Disable Camera Transitions is the named option to try.
- The view sways while walking: that is the separate motion-sway question; the new option is not documented as removing all movement.
- The game stutters or a puzzle does not respond: the camera-transition reply does not establish a general performance or interaction fix.
Change the option and check an inspection
- Open the Demo’s settings and look for the exact label Disable Camera Transitions.
- Enable it. Because the label says “Disable,” switching this option on is the requested change.
- Return to an object you can inspect and enter its inspection view.
- Check whether the viewpoint cuts to the object instead of moving through the transition.
The source names the option and explains its effect, but does not establish a specific submenu path or default key. Use the setting label rather than an assumed series of menu clicks.
Changing the camera presentation does not supply a sun-box position or alter the clock-letter reasoning. Once the view is comfortable enough for you to continue, use the relevant puzzle guide for the actual clue.
If you cannot find it, check the Demo version
Freezman’s October 16 reply says that day’s Demo update includes the option. If it is missing, compare your installed Demo’s update state with the official October announcement before assuming you overlooked a puzzle control.
If your updated copy still lacks the setting or continues the same inspection movement, note the platform, update/build information and which object transition you tested when reporting it in the original feedback discussion.
The developer reports that it helped one team member internally. That is an individual report, not a promise that the setting prevents symptoms for everyone. If playing feels uncomfortable, pause rather than using this guide as a reason to keep going.
What a successful change looks like
An inspected object is reached with a camera cut instead of the described travelling transition. That confirms the documented setting’s visible effect in your copy; it does not confirm that all sway, stutter or discomfort has been resolved.
